Two more festivals! Two more opportunities to catch BLOOD ON THE FLAT TRACK in theatres!

If you happen to be in Denmark, check out the Aarhus Festival of Independent Arts, (AFIA, for those in the know!). The festival opens March 12 and runs until March 17th.

THEN!

In Memphis, on Saturday March 29th, at 6:00pm, we’re screening as part of ON LOCATION: MEMPHIS! Check out their website for ticket and pass information!

On October 15, 2007, we showed at the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and took home BOTH the juried award and audience award for Best Local Film! Thank you Seattle! We love you!

Then, on October 20th we screened at both the Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, KS and at the Detroit Docs Film Festival in Detroit, MI, where we were awarded the 2007 Festival Founders Award!

Thanks to all the amazing folks that came out in support of the film - we’re so thrilled with the response we’ve gotten, and can’t wait to see what happens next!

Last weekend, director Lainy Bagwell visited the Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, Kansas for a screening of BLOOD ON THE FLAT TRACK on Saturday, October 20.

Basically, it’s individual shots of all the skaters, refs, announcers, mascots, coaches etc… 114 photos in all. All hand-printed cyanotypes bound together accordion-style. So the book can be flipped through like any other or opened up to show all 39ish feet of prints.
